It seems that when we go out of the classroom, we have no access to communication and knowledge. Professors or college administrators should use online social networking to communicate with students about academic or organizational problems. Students and teachers can build a strong interpersonal relationship by contacting online and teachers can know more about their students’ different facets in order to adjust teaching method to make It slut students more. Secondly, universities and social networking sites should jointly develop mobile-learning platforms which contain course’s information and materials.
The rapid development of mobile devices is offering many opportunities for knowledge acquisition and social networking sites are the first to benefit (Stannic, 2012). While many researchers would attest to the potentials of social networking sites for learning, there are also people who argue that young adult learners treat and use social networking sites as a socializing platform more than learning platform (Ham, 2012).
Although the adoption of social networking sites in education has many advantages, there are several challenges which will be encountered in the process. Concerns of privacy and student safety are particularly important. Students’ private and personal information will be posted in a public websites.
