Lonzo Ball had a great night running up and down that court he had a triple-double that night which had a huge impact on the nuggets considering they won by 18 the score was 127-109. Lonzo Ball scored 21 points that night and Jordan Clarkson who added 18 points to the score takin them to a 24 point lead in the first half . Lonzo ball is always trying to impress his fans put on a good show as he says. That night another tragic thing that made it harder for the Denver Nuggets to come back they lost there two top players Nick Jokic and Paul Millsap. after Nick Jokic got ejected during the second quarter for interfering with an argument on the court by his coach Malone for a no call on Jokic and that’s when Jokic stepped in as well against the referee and He got kicked out.
The call was supposed to be a blocking foul under the basket. They battled for awhile under the basket before the said a foul should have been called. Jokic barely even joined in the argument before the referee Moss called him out Jokic then raged and Malone’s assistant had to calm him down. After that game he the apologized fro his behavior and claimed that he left his team behind that night. Another big problem that night was Paul Millsap received an injury during last nights game. He was claiming that he had a wrist injury. He had sprained his wrist during the second quarter which left the Denver nuggets in quite a despair. He then went to go get an X-ray but didn’t tell Malone the results till later on.
He ended up with torn ligament in the wrist. The cause of this was outstretched arm fall . The symptoms of this injury are: pain in wrist on the thumb side, swelling, bruising, weak grip, and snapping or popping wrist.. You can treat them with a cast or splint for three to six weeks to allow the ligament to heal or do surgery if necessary.
Paul Mill sap decided to go down the surgical route. The surgery ended up being a success and he will now be out for a total of three months. He will have to go under a few weeks of physical therapy in order to regain strength in his wrist. The team is now under some devastation for losing one of their top scores for three months. They will now how to pick up the game that Paul Millsap has left behind.
Paul Millsap is definitely an irreplaceable player. Hopefully Paul Millsap with be recovered for the All-Stars. Many people believe that he will not be able to make it the all stars but many of his fans are hoping that he will be able to play. The exercises Paul Millsap will be doing to strengthen his wrist is squeezing a ball to work his wrist flexors and using different resistance bands to work on flexion and extension of the wrist.
Flexion of the wrist which you place your forearm on A table and rest a dumbbell on your hand roll it down to your finger and grasp the dumbbell bar and bring up and then push down and do up to 10 tens each time Coach Malone is working on making sure Paul Millsap is fully recovered before he enters the game again. They wouldn’t want him to be injured again or start off weak they want him back full power as he was before he torn the ligaments in his left wrist. Everyone will hope that he can still average at least 14 points for game getting those steaks and rebounds and get some victories. Those extra points that Paul Millsap could have scored if he was still in the game could have brought the Nuggets to a victory. Paul Millsap who also does the All-Stars Every year is hoping he will make his full recovery before then because he does not want his spot to taken away plays hard all year and he deserves to play. He is even going around and asking for other doctors opinions He wants to be sure he wont miss out and no one is holding back on him. He is hope to get the cast removed by February (16-21) Around the All-Star time.
He Has been shooting with one hand and he says that once his cast is off he will ramped up and pushing himself like never before to back on the court. He does not prefer being a bench warmer, but he does support his team in every way possible Denver Nuggets is his family and are supporting and also helping him get stronger. The injury of Torn ligaments in His left wrist was just a little bump in the road now he is focused to getting back on the rights path.
