This article is about television the monumental effect it has on children. The articles also touches down on how it effects brain development, causes aggressive behavior, traumatizes kids, effects performance in school, influences attitudes, and how it effects child’s health.The author does a good job of using facts, statistics, medical papers, and other web address to prove her point. This article shows how something as simple as TV can have both long and short term effects on children and their behaviors. The author is simply shedding light into the world on Americas #1 baby sitter, television. It is unbiased data and is based on well supported data. Her main object is to show the studies done on children who watch TV and its effects to warn parents, while stating some positive effects to show that TV isn’t entirely bad.
This source could be used for writing a paper on the psychological, heath, social, or school risks TV on children. This may also be beneficial to parents who are looking for the best way to balance TV in the lives of their children. Massimo, Joseph.

This article tells how fast paced television shows can effect the brains of children giving what parents say about TV rotting the brain new meaning.The article was based upon a test run by University of Virginia that focused on how the faster paced shows caused the children watching them to have significantly lower scores on the tests than the children drawing or doing another activity.
This may be a helpful article when looking for a specific test of how television directly impacts children however it is not as detailed as the other sources I have, only focusing on one topic. It is not biased and is based off an actual study done. This source will help me give an example of a test run to prove my research paper.This also is good in telling the data that will be needed for the paper as well. That author shows how children under two that are watching TV have less time for reading and other interactive activities. He argues that children learn longer by watching it on TV rather than experimenting with the object themselves. And discourages TV for long amount of time for younger viewers. This is a good source does not seem to be biased. The articles is written by a newspaper so should be accurate and the information from the newspaper was given by psychologists that have observed and studied the topic.It can again help shape my argument on TV on children and how minimizing this factor would benefit them for their future.
The source is helpful in helping me to see how technology boom has also led to the more constant use of electronics as babysitters since it is common to have it. This will help in my paper to show how more and more children are watching TV and how professionals are discouraging this practice saying it has long term effects on the children. The article tells of the negative as well as positive aspects of TV. It cautions parents to take charge and limit amount of harmful TV their children receive. This source is extremely valuable since it was released by American Academy of Pediatrics who had multiple experiments and observations from the tests run. The author does not make the articles biased and is simply reporting what was shown by the data in the research.The goal of this paper to make people aware of the negative sides of TV on the children and teen psychologically and how it changes their behaviors.
The author also wants parents to take charge and try to filter the content the children receive thru parent control. I can use the statics in my paper to prove my points on aggressive behavior and other negative effects on kids watching TV. I can also state the ways in which to lessen the negative effects. The source is very helpful in clarifying the problems of TV as well as tool that can filter TV so it is not as harmful. Graham, Judith.

The author touches base on disadvantages the children can have in their language, interactions and fitness from TV. It warns in moderate amounts of TV versus the average amount of time kids spend watching TV. The article states also that many children shows in the media are violent, and teach kids to use violence as an answer to their problems creating social conflict for the children.This source seems reliable since it is from a college research team I would assume that this data is accurate. The article was written by a Extension Human Development Specialist and revised by one who has a Ph. D.

This source was useful to me in what I will write my paper on. It touched base on all the topics I need information on research paper. It would’ve been better if the article was longer and had more facts but still helpful.
