Unlike most people who only utilize computers, I was moreintrigued by how they functioned.
When I first used a computer, I wanted toknow how the interfaces interacted with each other and the hypothesis behindthem. This eventually led me to opt for Mathematics, Physics and ComputerStudies in my A level program so that I could pursue my desire of furthering myknowledge in this field.I familiarized myself with Pythonand BASIC by attending innumerable workshops, and have used these forprogramming. I also honed my programming abilities by using PyQt to build up myown UIs.
Furthermore, during my A levels I partook in School of Tomorrow whereI designed a self-driving car prototype in light of Arduino Kit. I thoroughlyenjoy the experience from the analysis until the testing. In my O levels as well as my A levels, I pushed myself to prevailas much as I was capable, in endeavors to better myself both as a student andas a person. I successfully ended upwith A*s and A’s in my O level Cambridge examinations.
My continuing hard workled me to maintain these grades even during my A level schoolexaminations where I managed to attain an A in Computing Studies andPhysics and an A* in Mathematics. Through my computing A level aptitudes, I haveunderstood how computers perform and the hypothesis behind them. Furthermore,it has also given me insight into why we require computer scientists in therealm of work. A levels also inculcated specialist knowledge in me and refinedmy analytical skills through methodical problem solving questions.
The rigor of my academics is whateventually led me to be elected as IT vice president of my school, a post thatsharpened my skills in both administration and communication. As the ITpresident, I developed a website for the school’s annual event, Misaal (2017). Apart from my academics, I involved myself invarious internships throughout my summer vacations. At Alif Laila, a book busslibrary based in Lahore I was the head intern, and here I finished a Community Service Program byadvancing knowledge to children belonging to underprivileged households. At WWF, we planted trees throughoutnumerous locations and studied nature from an incredibly close perspective.
Both internships instilled a sense of social responsibility in me. Recently, I was able to join Karachi Youth Model United Nationswhich was an exceptional experience and inculcated in me knowledge about the domainof worldwide governmental issues and relations. Considering both my academicsand skills regarding computer sciences as well as the Community Service that I involvedmyself in, I was given the honorable title of Batch Representative 2017. During my free time I enjoy attempting competitive programmingquestions from TopCoder or by enhancing my programming skills usingapplications like Geeks for Geeks. These hobbies not only help me to de-stressbut also polish my knowledge regarding computer studies. My three week work experience at idk what to right hereas an IT support gave me an extraordinary knowledge into how aworldwide Computing business functions and affirmed that I needed to go intoprocessing.
Since viable communication is critical in IT support jobs, I developedexpertise at demonstrating presentations and giving speeches and I also becameproficient at persuading and negotiating with people. It also refined mylistening skills.
